Your GiftCardMall/MyGift card is a convenient, secure, and flexible way to make purchases anywhere GiftCardMall/MyGift cards are accepted online and in-store. Follow these simple steps to activate, register, and start using your card today.
Buy your GiftCardMall/MyGift card online or at participating retail locations. Cards are available in a range of denominations to fit any budget or occasion.
Some cards are ready to use immediately, while others require activation. Check the sticker on your card or the packaging for instructions. You may need to call a toll-free number or visit an activation website and provide your card number and security code (CVV).
For added security and to enable online and phone purchases, register your card on our homepage. Click the “Register Card” tab and enter your 16-digit card number, expiration date, and CVV. You’ll also provide a billing address, which many online merchants require.
Before making a purchase, verify your available balance. Use the “Check Balance/Transactions” feature on our site, call the customer service number on the back of your card, or review your last receipt. This helps avoid declined transactions due to insufficient funds.
Use your card wherever eligible merchants accept GiftCardMall/MyGift:
- In-Store: Swipe, insert (chip), or tap (contactless). Select “Credit” when prompted and sign if required.
- Online: Enter your card number, expiration date, CVV, and registered billing address at checkout.
- Phone Orders: Provide your card details just like a standard payment card.
Monitor your transaction history online to track purchases and remaining balance. This helps you budget and verify that all charges are legitimate.
If your card supports it, set a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for added security and for merchants that require PIN entry. Use the “Personalize PIN” tab on our homepage or call customer service for assistance.
If your card is lost, stolen, or you notice unauthorized transactions, contact customer service immediately. Early reporting helps protect your remaining balance and may qualify you for a replacement card.
Important Tips
- Know Your Balance: Always check before purchase to avoid declines.
- Partial Payments: If your total exceeds your balance, ask the cashier to charge only your available amount and pay the remainder with another method.
- Gas Stations & Hotels: These merchants often place temporary holds above the purchase total. Ensure your balance can cover the hold.
- No Cash Back: GiftCardMall/MyGift cards typically do not provide cash back and cannot be used at ATMs unless specified.
- Expiration & Fees: Review your Cardholder Agreement for expiration dates, inactivity fees, and other terms.
